FC Dallas Stadium hosts A Tribute to the Kings of Rock presented by Budweiser
FRISCO, Texas – FC Dallas Stadium will host A Tribute to the Kings of Rock presented by Budweiser and featuring six tribute bands covering Rock and Roll legends on Saturday, Sept. 8.
General admission tickets are $10 with reserved floor seats on sale for $25. All seats go on sale Friday, July 6 at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster.com. Click here to get tickets.
Gates open at 2:30 p.m. and parking is free. FC Dallas season ticket holders will have access to a special pre-sale that begins on Thursday, July 5.
The concert features six renowned tribute bands, including Hells Bells (AC/DC), Battery (Metallica), Nightrain (Guns N Roses), Higher Ground (Red Hot Chili Peppers); Poison’D & Red, White & Crue (Poison and Motley Crue) and Alyson Chayns (Alice in Chains). Voted the No. 1 Metallica tribute band in the world by MTV, Battery actually opened for Metallica on all dates of the legendary band’s Garage INC Tour.
While Battery shared the stage with Metallica, the other tribute bands have earned a plethora of accolades themselves. Rolling Stone called Hells Bells, which pays homage to AC/DC, “One of the best bands on Earth!” Voted “Best Tribute Band of 2010” by the Tampa Bay Music Network, Higher Ground celebrates the music of 2012 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees the Red Hot Chili Peppers, while Nightrain covers another 2012 inductee in Guns N Roses.
